BACnet is a communications protocol for building automation and control networks.
It is equally suitable for both the automation and management levels, especially
for HVAC, lighting control and fire alarm equipment. It is recognized as an
ANSI and CEN standard as well as ISO standard 16484-5. The protocol is based
