Conformance Test
Manufacturers of BACnet products can prove with conformity tests that their devices comply with the BACnet Standard ISO 16484-5. The BIG-EU has agreed on a mutual recognition of test results with the American BACnet partners. The tests are conducted in accordance to the ASHRAE Standard 135.1:2003 "Method of Test for Conformance to BACnet". If the test result is positive, the BIG-EU allows a product to bear the BACnet test mark (BTL Brand).
