Increasing demand for BACnet knowledge

European BACnet Academy starts in Amsterdam

Dortmund, September 16, 2009 - How does ISO 16484-5 - the BACnet communication protocol work? With the increasing number of manufacturer independent building installations the demand for BACnet knowledge is rising. The BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) receives requests from all over Europe. This is enough reason for the launch of the BACnet Academy Europe. The first training takes place in Amsterdam on October 27.

"The service providers and facility managers want to experience the recent changes in the listing and certification of BACnet controllers", says Frank Schubert, BIG-EU BACnet trainer for many years. In Amsterdam he will explain the basics of interoperable building automation, and the integration of devices in network and IT environments. BACnet is the only communication standard that was especially developed for building automation.

The next trainings will be held in Zurich (Switzerland) and Paris (France). Please email us for further information at info@big-eu.org.
