BACnet Academy Europe in Amsterdam
Dortmund/Amsterdam, 26 November, 2009. - The first International Training
for BACnet Academy Europe took place in Amsterdam in October. The demand for
BACnet know-how is growing. Frank Schubert, advisory board member for the
BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) and director of the training, was delighted
with the participation from all across Europe.
Participants travelled from Poland, Sweden, Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. They gained the requisite skills for a deeper understanding of the BACnet standard from the training schedule. The material presented ranged from basic knowledge to interoperability and from the structure of the BACnet language to the integration of BACnet into IT. The importance of the BTL mark and the European certificate for tested BACnet conformance was also discussed. BACnet Academy Europe will offer further training sessions in France and Switzerland in 2010. For information please visit info@big-eu.org.
