BACnet's role in Sweden
Stockholm, January 24th - 27th, 2006. - The exhibition Nordbygg is a biannual event and the biggest in Scandinavia with more than 55 000 visitors. BIG SE arranged a half-day seminar with the theme "BACnet's role in future Building Automation" with Hans Kranz as lecturer. The goal was to give the audience basic knowledge about standardised protocols in general and BACnet in specific. The seminar was well received by the audience.
BIG SE is running a number of articles in the biggest HVAC magazine in Sweden, Energi & Miljö. The articles are a mix of market information and more detailed technical information.
BIG SE also plans to have BACnet training in May for building owners and consultants. The interest for BACnet is growing in Sweden and BIG SE hopes to boost it with regional activities.
The next Nordbygg is scheduled for April 1s t- 4th 2008.
