BACnet Knowledge in Demand in Europe
User training in Milan, Barcelona and London
Dortmund, September 27th, 2016. – On October 5, building automation experts met in Milan, Italy, to take part in a BACnet user training. The BACnet Academy at the Polytechnic University of Milan was the start of the BIG-EU autumn program. The next BACnet Academies will take place in Barcelona on October 10, and in London on November 16. These are the first BACnet Academies after the release of the new BACnet standards 2016.
BACnet is on the rise. Open and interoperable BACnet-based building automation systems are being used in more and more existing and newly built buildings. The BACnet standard is also becoming more complex thanks to its enhanced functionality. After the release of the new 2016 version, the demand for BACnet know-how is especially high. That is why the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) is offering training courses on building automation with BACnet across Europe. The course in London will be the 20th BACNet Academy.
The BACnet Academy introduces participants to the basic technological knowledge of interoperable BACnet building automation. You can learn how to apply the standardized interoperability areas, modules, and device profiles. You'll also learn how easy it is to specify interoperability areas.
The Milan and Barcelona Academies were held with the support of the respective polytechnic universities. BACnet Academies are always held in the language of the host country.
