BACnet live@ISH 2017

Connectivity, Security and Data Evaluation for the Building of the Future at the BACnet Booth A61 in Hall 10.3

Dortmund, March 13th, 2017. – The BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) presents applications for better connectivity, security and data evaluation in building automation from March 14th-18th at the ISH BACnet booth 2017. The exhibition shows interoperable systems according to DIN EN ISO 16484-5. A total 20 providers are represented. They all are BIG-EU members and thus experts for the architecture of open, manufacturer-independent building automation and management systems. Their theme is “BACnet live@ISH -- Solutions for the Building of the Future”.

Several new members have joined the open BACnet world. TÜV SÜD INDUSTRY SERVICE exhibits evaluation services for interoperability and connected building systems. OPPERMANN uses BACnet at the field level and demonstrates open communication in sensor technology. TRIDIUM shows BACnet connectivity based on its open developer framework. BIHL+WIEDEMANN has developed a gateway for the direct connection of the AS-i bus system to BACnet/IP. EVON provides a new BACnet-based automation system for the networking of IT and building management technology.

Largest European BACnet Exhibition

Other BIG-EU members introduce their latest generations of devices. Distech Controls presents IP connectivity applications. ELESTA exhibits a freely programmable communication system. HERMOS shows software for monitoring and analysis. SAUTER demonstrates its newest highlights in room automation, VAV controlling and management software. SIEMENS presents complete solutions for building operation that are secure and energy efficient. BACnet communication for the integration of the latest generation of frequency converters is presented by ABB.

BELIMO, DEOS, HONEYWELL, INGA, OPPERMANN, SAUTER and SE-ELEKTRONIC are represented as logo exhibitors and complete the largest European BACnet exhibition. The BACnet booth is a meeting point for planners, integrators, constructors, operators and end customers. Special items on the agenda are the BACnet German market meeting with AMEV, the nomination of the BIG-EU for the German Brand Award, the periodic performance of the BIG-EU video “We are BACnet” and the daily beer fest at the end of the exhibition day.
