Building Automation in IT Environments

BACnet Academy informs Danish construction industry stakeholders

Dortmund/Copenhagen, October 10th, 2019. – Brand new information on the integration of BACnet interoperability in IT environments is delivered by the BACnet Academy. A special 2-day intensive class for Danish building operators and construction stakeholders is on offer on Dec 4th–5th in Copenhagen.

BACnet (ISO 16484-5) is a communication standard “that never sleeps”. Recently the elevator monitoring was integrated and enables an occupant evacuation operation in the event of fire. The upcoming addition is the secure data transfer with BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC). Therefore constant exchange of know-how and best practices is needed. The neutral educational program covers a maximum of detailed information – from the advantages of interoperability to cloud computing, from standardized object types to the BTL Certification Program.

The unique training class in Copenhagen is a must for building planners, integrators, operators, facility managers and suppliers. It is hosted by the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG EU) and supported by BUILDINGCONTROL DANMARK. Details are available at www.bacnetacademy.org.
