Welcome to BACnet at Light+Building
Dortmund, March 12th, 2018. – TÜV SÜD has entered into the evaluation and quality assurance of buildings based on the BACnet standard. He presents his concept at the BACnet booth (hall 9.1, D66) at Light+Building (March 18-23, 2018). 29 members of the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) showcase innovative solutions for building automation at the new marketplace OPEN BUILDING AUTOMATION.
The focus is on investment security for buildings but also on the 20-year anniversary of the BIG-EU. The group was founden on May 14, 1998 by 17 building services companies, universities and trade organizations as well as users, planners and system integrators. Today, it has grown to an association that counts more than 130 members from 20 countries.
The exhibitors at the BACnet booth are ACR, ABB, Association BACnet France, BACnet International, Auricon, Belimo, Bihl+Wiedemann, Carlo Gavazzi, Delta Dore Spega, DIAL, Global Control 5, Hermos, INGA, Intesis, Johnson Controls, Kieback&Peter, Leicom, Loytec, LG Business Solutions, Neptronic, OPC Foundation, Sauter, Schneider Electric, SE-Elektronic, Siemens, Tridium and TÜV Süd. Other BIG-EU members such as MBS and the Fairhair Alliance exhibit at the open marketplace.
For the first time the BACnet standard is part of the Marketplace OPEN BUILDING AUTOMATION at Light+Building. Here the main attraction is the lecture arena with over 60 short presentations on the digital building. Involved are the exhibitors and 14 associations who are who are active in the development of standards. Key topics are IoT networking, IT security and interoperability beyond established standards.
