Light + Building 2026 – Preparations Underway for the Next BIG-EU Highlight
Preparations for our next major industry event are already in full swing: Light + Building 2026, taking place from March 8–13, 2026, in Frankfurt am Main.

Once again, BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) will join forces with the EnOcean Alliance to present a large joint booth – perfectly located right at the entrance of Hall 9.0, one of the most attractive exhibition areas of the fair. The space has already been reserved, and planning is progressing rapidly.

As in previous years, Light + Building 2026 will be the stage for several key highlights:

The BACnet Award Ceremony, traditionally held during the show
The Networking Event / Stand Party on Tuesday evening
And most notably, the global celebration of 30 Years of BACnet
This anniversary will be celebrated jointly with BACnet International, uniting the worldwide BACnet community under one shared message – marking three decades of innovation, interoperability, and industry leadership.
