Successful BIG-EU Spring Meeting 2026 in Prague

The BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) successfully held its Spring Meeting 2026 in Prague, bringing together representatives of the European BACnet community for two productive days of discussions, decision-making, and networking.

On the first day, members of the Executive Board and Advisory Board met to review current activities, discuss strategic developments, and define future priorities for the organization. Key decisions were made regarding the continued growth of BIG-EU and the promotion of the BACnet standard throughout Europe.

The second day welcomed the regular members, creating an excellent opportunity for broader discussions on ongoing projects, industry developments, and future initiatives. Through open dialogue and active participation, members contributed valuable perspectives that will help shape the future direction of the association.

A particular highlight was once again the traditional Networking Dinner held between the two meeting days. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants enjoyed engaging conversations, strengthened existing relationships, and established new connections across the international BACnet community.

The Spring Meeting 2026 once again demonstrated the value of personal interaction and close collaboration in advancing open standards for building automation. Participants left Prague with new ideas, clear objectives, and a shared commitment to supporting the continued success of BACnet in Europe.
